SHORT-TERM MISSIONS

Helping people here, near, and far know and follow Jesus

  • Guatemala

Experience what God is doing in San Antonio Aguas Calientes! This team will work with Oak Hill Sent Ones, Brice and Abby Martin and Sarah Martin with New Hope Global Ministries. While you work in the harvest, you will gain valuable experience in making disciples that reproduce and multiply and learn about parts of the world where there is little to no access to the gospel.

    October 10–17, 2026

    Approximate Cost: $1400–$1500

    Team Leader: Jodi Kemler

  • South Asia

Walk the streets of a mega-city in South Asia and work in the missionary task to see reproducing and multiplying churches started. South Asia has been described as the “epicenter of lostness” but God is at work! Experience the sites, sounds, and flavors of South Asia while sharing the Good News with people who, perhaps, have never heard the name of Jesus. Our partners serve on a church planting team with the International Mission Board.

    Dates: May 13–23, 2026 and September 30–October 10, 2026

    Approximate Cost: $2500–$2800

    Team Leader: Bruce Mewbourne

  • Clarkston

Sip an Ethiopian coffee and impact the world in the most diverse square mile in the USA! Joining a Clarkston Weekender (Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon) allows you to “test-drive” cross-cultural missions just an hour away from home. Ministry will focus on refugees who have been resettled to Atlanta. SEND Relief and Clarkston International Bible Church are our partners.

Date and cost info coming soon.

About Short-Term

Oak Hill Church Short-Term Mission Teams are designed to actively participate in God's global plan to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20). Through these trips, we aim to:

  • Mobilize and Equip: Expose Oak Hill Church members to God's worldwide work, equipping them for cross-cultural ministry and personal involvement in disciple-making strategies.

  • Grow and Serve: Foster spiritual growth and practical ministry skills in our members, empowering them to serve effectively both abroad and in their home communities.

  • Proclaim the Gospel: Bring individuals to a saving faith in Jesus Christ through evangelistic efforts.

  • Disciple and Teach: Teach the Word of God and disciple new believers, leading them to worship God in Spirit and truth.

  • Strengthen Partnerships: Build, support, and care for our long-term ministry partners and church planters on the field.

  • Advance God's Kingdom: Assist in disciple-making, church planting, and evangelistic initiatives globally.
